Creek County traffic accident kills two people

SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) _ A crash on Oklahoma 51 in Creek County has killed two people.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Gregory Cherny and 46-year-old Kenneth Sixkiller were both killed in an accident at about 5 Saturday evening.

Troopers say Cherny was trying to pass another vehicle when he hit Sixkiller's car head-on.

Cherny was pronounced dead at the scene. Sixkiller died after being transported to the hospital.
