EL RENO, Okla. (AP) -- A thrilling day of testimony at the Scott Eizember trial.
16-year-old Tyler Montgomery Monday testified that Eizember shot him in the back, beat his grandmother with a shotgun, then chased after him and fired at him again.
Montgomery says Eizember "jerked open" the glass storm door to his home and shot him in the back when he got up to run. Montgomery says he fell in the doorway to the kitchen, and Eizember stepped over him and started beating his grandmother, Karla Wright.
Montgomery says he got up and ran to his truck, and Eizember followed and climbed into the bed of the pickup. Montgomery says he finally lost Eizember by crashing the truck and running into the stands at a football game.
Eizember faces two first-degree murder charges, plus counts alleging he shot Montgomery with intent to kill and assaulted Wright with a deadly weapon.
