DURANT, Okla. (AP) -- A Bryan County judge has sentenced a Colbert man convicted of beating and raping a baby to two life in prison terms.

District Judge Farrell Hatch followed jurors' recommendation for Harvey Dale Bradford.

The 30-year-old Bradford had been charged with child abuse and child sexual abuse following an investigation that began in June 2003.

Investigators say Bradford beat and sexually assaulted a baby girl at a Colbert home over a several-month period.
