The Tulsa Area United Way is celebrating 80 years of community service.
They held their annual meeting and awards luncheon at the Renaissance Hotel Tuesday.
A group of businessmen started the Tulsa Area United Way in 1924. Back then, they sponsored 11 agencies. The group now funds 68 agencies all over northeastern Oklahoma.
