Clarita teen killed in ATV accident

TUPELO, Okla. (AP) _ A 14-year-old Clarita boy is dead after an ATV accident today near Tupelo in Coal County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Savador Douglas Ramos was dead at the scene of the crash about 10:30 this morning.

A 12-year-old Ada boy was injured in the crash. The report says David Gregor was listed in good condition.

The OHP says the boys were driving the ATV in an open field when they jumped an embankment and went airborne for about 30 feet. They were ejected another 30 feet when the ATV landed.

The patrol says neither boy was wearing a helmet.
