Two little girls are attacked at a Tulsa abandoned house. The victims are 8 and 10 years old, the suspects, 12 and 13.

Tulsa Police say it's an alarming case because the crimes involve sexual battery and a knife. News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright says Brenda’s two daughters and two of their friends stopped at a park near the 2000 block of North Maplewood to play Friday morning on their way to Bryant Elementary School.

They say they were approached by two boys who lured them inside a nearby abandoned house. They then left the house and went back to the park and that's when the trouble happened. When they came back over the park, the girls say one of the boys knocked the older girl down, got on top of her and imitated a sex act.

When her younger sister came to her aid, they say another boy cut her twice on the chest with a knife. The girls went on to school and when the one with the cuts on her chest went to the school nurse, the nurse called Brenda. "I was on auto pilot, I didn't know what to do and when I saw my child's chest, I almost freaked out."

Brenda called Tulsa Police who found the two boys. Both had been suspended from middle school for 45 days. The age of the kids coupled with the violence of the attack, worries police. Tulsa Police Sgt Mike Huff, Tulsa Police: "We're talking kids not yet teenagers. They are eight to 12, it's pretty alarming." That the house is apparently well known is also alarming. Brenda: "That this is a hang out for getting drugs, cigarettes, where they hang out when suspended from school."

The News on 6 decided to go inside and check it out. Lori Fullbright: "It's not hard to get into." We found trash thrown all over the floor, evidence a fire had been started in the dining area and vodka bottles and beer cans strewn throughout. An old couch covers the living room window and one room had an old mattress in it.

Tulsa Police sent the case to the juvenile authorities. They also notified patrol officers to keep an eye on the house and called the city's drug house abatement program. Plus they contacted the school about why the parents of these two boys didn't know they'd been suspended.

City code enforcement investigators also went to the house Monday and will notify the owner to board it up better so kids can't get inside. If the owner doesn't cooperate, the house could eventually be destroyed.
