A Tulsa woman is warning others after she was attacked while walking on the RiverParks trail near 61st and Riverside.

She walks every morning between seven and eight. She never wears headphones and says she walks confidently, so never expected to be a victim.

She says she first noticed a man several feet behind her who was dressed all in black and it struck her as odd. "I saw him four times out of peripheral vision and as soon as I did, looking back, I should've bolted straight for the road, but, I didn't want to be paranoid." That's when the man grabbed her from behind and knocked her to the ground.

She says she decided to go back to RiverParks Tuesday and hang up warning signs, in an effort to help others.
