Charge alleges restauranteur tried to have waitress killed

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Edmond restaurant manager accused of sexually assaulting a waitress is formally charged with trying to hire someone to kill her.

A charge of solicitation to commit murder in the first degree was filed yesterday against 42 year old Bradley Chase Pemberton.

Pemberton was arrested Tuesday by Edmond police.

Pemberton's attorney says his client was held yesterday without bail in the Oklahoma County jail and was expected in Oklahoma County District Court Monday for an arraignment.

Attorney Michael Rogalin says his client denies the charges.
