TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Tulsa running back John Mosley is expected
to be back in practice Tuesday after suffering a concussion against
No. 5 Texas A&M.
However, senior tight end Pete Muther likely will miss the
conference opener at San Jose State (1-2) with a sprained left
knee, Tulsa coach Dave Rader said Monday.
"Pete does so many things ... he's a key loss," Rader said.
"We'll have to figure out where we're going to go from here, some
guys have to pick up the pace a bit."
Tulsa (1-2) opens its Western Athletic Conference season
Saturday against the Spartans after suffering two-straight lopsided
defeats of 62-13 to A&M and 46-9 to Oklahoma State, respectively.
Rader said also listed as questionable this week are strong
safety Brett Butler with a thigh bruise and defensive end Drew
McLaughlin, who suffered a shoulder subluxation and sprained ankle
Mosley, who has 189 yards for a 5.3 average per rush this
season, is expected to be back on the field, Rader said.
