An Owasso developer has a new concept geared to first time home buyers.
A new housing addition called Preston Lakes will be located at 86th Street North and 145th East Avenue.
David Charney is manager and developer.
He has 314 acres of land that will house an assisted living center, retirement villas or apartments. But most importantly, first time housing. Charney says he will have homes that range from $70,000 to the upper 90'S for first home buyers.
David Charney says "we believe we can do upscale entry level house, combined with homes in excess of $100,000 and in the same neighborhood if done well."
Owasso city leaders say the town needs affordable housing because most homes there now are upscale.
