Hamilton is seeking the help of hunters and outdoorsmen in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas in the search for a 12-year-old girl
reported missing from her Broken Bow home in July 17.

Danny Taylor, who is also known as Danny Callaway, reported his stepdaughter missing, saying she was not in her room when he
checked on her in the morning.

Taylor is in custody in the McCurtain County Jail, accused of the death of his girlfriend in Laughlin, Nev., in 1991. Hamilton said Taylor was arrested Friday at his job and is waiting to be transported to Nevada.

The body of 31-year-old Cheryl Desantis was found buried in California. Authorities say they have a witness who claims Taylor, 39, admitted the death. Hamilton said the woman's body was found 18 miles away and was in a shallow grave.

Authorities in Nevada began looking for Taylor when 12-year-old Crystal Kendrick was reported missing from her Oklahoma home.

Hamilton is asking for help anywhere within three hours' driving distance from Broken Bow, which is in far southeastern Oklahoma
near the borders of Arkansas and Texas. Northeastern Louisiana also would be within the driving range. Hamilton said he was concerned that Crystal may have been carried out of state.

He considers her the victim of foul play and believes her body could be buried in some remote location in the region.

He wants deer hunters and four-wheel-drive enthusiasts and others in northeastern Texas, southwestern Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma to be on the alert for shallow depressions in the ground and to alert local authorities or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation of anything suspicious.

Taylor has not been charged in Crystal's disappearance. Hamilton said he was looking into Taylor's "possible role in her
disappearance."
