Court reverses itself, restoring Autumn Jackson's conviction in Cosby case

Updated:
The attorney for a woman accused of trying to
extort 40 (M) million dollars from entertainer Bill Cosby says he'll appeal today's ruling in the case.

A federal appeals court which had overturned the conviction of Autumn Jackson has reversed itself, finding she was properly
convicted. The court ruled that an improper instruction given to the jury was not sufficient to overturn the conviction.

The ruling means Jackson may have to return to prison for another seven months. She's already served part of a two-year-plus prison term.

Jackson's attorney, Robert Baum, says his client cried when she got word of the ruling.

Cosby has admitted to having an affair with Jackson's mother during the 70s.
