Oklahoma schools profit from NCAA run

(Undated-AP) -- Oklahoma schools that played in the N-C-A-A tournament will reap the benefits of their basketball prowess.

Tulsa and Oklahoma State's programs will receive $320,000 dollars a piece for reaching the Elite Eight with Oklahoma receiving half that for playing in the first two rounds.

The Big 12 Conference should pay O-S-U, O-U and the rest of the league schools more than $600,000 when the schools conduct their spring meetings later this month.
