Youth being charged as adult for father's death

(Duncan-AP) -- A 15-year-old Duncan boy is being charged as an adult for the stabbing death of his father.

Justin Ryan Long has been charged with first-degree murder in the Monday night killing of 42-year-old Hoyt Long.

Justin Long is being held on $750,000 bail.

Hoyt Long died of multiple stab wounds in the living room of his Duncan home.

Two of Duncan's three slayings in the past 14 months have involved teen-agers accused of killing a parent.

In March 1999, Duncan youth Doyle Reid Junior bayoneted his mother to death.

Reid was convicted in August and sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
