Country Performer Collapses During Show

(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Authorities say a member of the country music band Kentucky Headhunters collapsed from a heart attack
during a performance at Remington Park Saturday night.

Richard Young is listed in serious condition Sunday morning at Saint Anthony Hospital.

Hospital spokeswoman Stacy Wadley says Young has been admitted to the hospital.

The 45-year-old Young is the rhythm guitarist of the group, which won a Vocal Group of the Year award from the Country Music Association in 1990. They are known for bringing a blues rock edge to country music.

The group took the stage prior to a performance by Tracy Lawrence.
