VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — After a weekend in jail, former skating star Tonya Harding awaited her next assignment Monday: 10 days on a work crew.
Harding was released Sunday from three days in jail for punching her boyfriend, Darren Silver, and bloodying his face with a hubcap.
Details on when and where she would serve her work-crew stint were pending Monday. She could be ordered to pick up trash or perform other community service.
Harding, who first gained notoriety for her role in the 1994 knee-clubbing attack on rival skater Nancy Kerrigan, pleaded guilty last week to disorderly conduct and malicious mischief.
