(Tulsa-AP) -- Miss Tulsa earned a $1,000 scholarship after winning the preliminary talent competition in the Miss Oklahoma pageant.
Brooke Baker is a 19-year-old junior at the University of Tulsa and won with a vocal-piano performance.
Miss Oklahoma City University won the swimsuit competition and a $500 cash scholarship. Twenty-four-year-old Libbi Rose is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
Three contestants share the Newcomer Talent award, given out for the first time.
A $500 cash scholarship will go to Miss Oklahoma City University, Lyndy Franklin; Miss Stephens County, Brook Crawford, and Miss Southwest Oklahoma State University, Cara King.
