A suspended Skiatook school employee will have his say in front of the school board tonight. Garry Ferguson's lawyer fears the due process hearing will not be fair. However, school attorneys say they have done everything possible to make sure it is.

Ferguson, the assistant principal, was suspended after playing a role in getting a locker room videotape to the News on Six. The videotape showed former coach and teacher Noonie Red Eagle making a tape of girls undressing. Red Eagle's father, Harry Red Eagle, was the school superintendent. He recommended that Ferguson be fired.

"Sometimes these things happen,” said Ferguson. “We'll get through it and be able to sleep at night, because we know we did the right thing." Ferguson's attorney says the school district is withholding critical information. But the school attorney says he's shared everything required under the law, and many items not required.
