(Tulsa-AP) -- An elderly Tulsa woman was killed by her own car today after she left it to pay her rent at a mobile home park.

Police officer Lucky Lamons says 76-year-old Martha Mae Deckard died when she tried to use her body to stop her car from rolling away. Lamons says the car either slipped out of gear or had not been put in park when Deckard got out of the vehicle.

The accident occurred just before ten this morning at the Oak Creek Village mobile home park.
