(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Tomorrow's election could be the last time for several years that Oklahoma has six congressional races on the ballot.
Oklahoma will lose one congressional seat if current census projections are correct. Those projections indicate the state's population has not grown as much as the population of other states.
The next census will be in 2010, and that would be the state's next opportunity to regain the lost seat.
If Oklahoma does lose one seat, the Legislature will redraw the state's political map into five districts before the 2002 elections.
