(Orlando, Florida-AP) -- Rocky Calmus of Oklahoma is one of three finalists chosen today for the Butkus Award, presented to the best linebacker in college football.
Calmus is joined by Keith Adams of Clemson and Dan Morgan of Miami.
Calmus leads top-ranked Oklahoma with 71 tackles. He also has three sacks, three fumble recoveries, six pass deflections and an interception that he returned for a touchdown.
The finalists were chosen by the 28-member Butkus Award selection committee with the winner to be announced on December Eighth. The award is presented by the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando.
