(Tulsa-AP) -- Hall of Fame catcher and Oklahoma native Johnny Bench says today's ball players aren't much difference from players in his day.

Bench says even though baseball is a lot about dollars and cents, he doesn't think the players have changed as much as the way people have changed toward them. Bench says people complained about the money players made when he played, but today's sports talk shows make the situation different by keeping issues alive for years.

Bench is in Tulsa to speak about motivational tips tonight at the 2002 Oklahoma Human Resource State Conference at the Tulsa Convention Center.
