The end of a drought for the folks in Bartlesvillle and Washington County.

The Bartlesville city council Friday afternoon repealed a resolution approved last month, imposing a 'state of emergency' with mandatory water rationing.

With the repeal, all water restrictions, like outdoor watering, car-washing, and the filling of swimming pools, have been lifted. In addition, city officials said the city's two public swimming pools would open on Memorial Day.

Sky 6 flew over Hulah Lake Friday. The lake is the primary source of water for people in Bartlesville, Dewey and several water districts.

Thanks to recent rain, the lake is more than full. As of three days ago, the lake was still two feet below normal. Storms brought Hulah levels up to more than 3.5 feet above normal, Thursday. And as of right now, the lake is more than 5 feet above normal.
