ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) _ Spencer Wyman and Reggie Willits each hit homers Wednesday night to lead Oklahoma to an 11-3 victory over Oklahoma State in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.

Oklahoma (34-23) trailed 3-2 in the sixth inning when Wyman hit a two-run homer to right-center field to give the Sooners a lead they would never relinquish.

Willits later keyed a six-run seventh inning for Oklahoma by smashing a three-run homer over the left field fence. Wyman, Matt Fischer and Denver Kitch each had RBI singles in the inning to push the Sooners' lead to 11-3.

Oklahoma State (37-20) took an early 2-1 lead over Oklahoma on Daylon Monette's RBI-double in the third, followed by Rob Watson's score on a passed ball by the Sooners.

Oklahoma came back to tie the game on a RBI single by Charlie Frasier in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Monette again came up big for the Cowboys in the sixth inning with a homer to right-center field, giving Oklahoma State a 3-2 lead _ its last lead of the game.

David Purcey (5-4) pitched six innings to pick up the win for Oklahoma. Scott Baker (6-3) was the loser.

Oklahoma will play the winner of the Texas-Texas A&M game on Thursday, while Oklahoma State will play the loser of that game. The loser of that game will be eliminated from the tournament.
