A shooting early Thursday morning has sent one man to a Tulsa hospital. Police were called to a home in the 4700 Block of North Cincinnati around three o'clock.

They found a man who'd been shot one time. He apparently went to the house to ask for help. Tulsa Police Sgt Jack Walton, â€œHis story is that he was walking down the street and a car pulled up and shot him one time through the shoulder. No connection between the home and him, he just walked up to the first house he saw.â€

Officials are still trying to verify the man's story. His name hasn't been released.
