DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) _ A man convicted of murder is fighting his extradition to Oklahoma to face charges in another killing.

Steven Ray Thacker, 31, of Chouteau, Okla., was convicted and sentenced to death in February for the stabbing murder of Dyersburg businessman Ray Patterson.

Thacker has been charged with two other fatal stabbings during the 10 days before Patterson died in early January 2000.

Oklahoma is seeking to try him in the slaying of Laci Dawn Hill, 25, of Bixby, Okla. Thacker also has been charged with killing Forrest Reed Boyd, 24, of Aldrich, Mo.

Thacker filed a petition Wednesday in Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville to fight the Oklahoma extradition order signed by Tennessee Gov. Don Sundquist last month. Thacker claims the fugitive warrant is flawed because it doesn't include a proper affidavit, doesn't certify that probable cause has been determined and doesn't indicate that the source of the information is reliable.

A June 10 hearing has been set.
