A Tulsa man faces charges Friday morning after he held police at bay for hours overnight.
Officers were called to a trailer at the AAA Truck Repair before midnight. Police say 46-year-old Dewey Don Davis lived on the premises. Davis was upset because he got fired. Tulsa Police Captain Larry Kinney, “The suspect had been terminated earlier from his job at a trucking company at this location, then confronted another employee, pointed a gun at him and then went into his trailer parked on the premises in the parking lot.â€
Officers tried to talk to Davis and after three hours, he gave up. Davis was taken into custody on a complaint of pointing a deadly weapon.
