TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Mike Rose's run-scoring double sparked a rally as El Paso beat Tulsa 7-4 in a Texas League game that was delayed because of rain on Friday.

A run-scoring single by Doug Devore tied the game at 4-4 in the seventh inning. El Paso scored three more runs in the eighth and ninth innings, while Mike Koplove (1-1) and Jose Valverde combined for one hit and no runs in the final 2 1/3 innings.

Valverde picked up his ninth save.

The Drillers blew a 4-2 advantage, built on a couple of RBIs and a fourth-inning homer by Harry Barrios.

Travis Hughes (2-5) allowed two hits and three runs in two innings of relief to suffer the loss for the Drillers.
