Updated:
A Tulsa family is homeless after a fire destroyed their home at the Landing Apartments in East Tulsa. Firefighters were called in shortly after midnight Tuesday. Apparently someone left some hot grease turned on and forgot about it. That set the kitchen on fire. Three vehicles in the parking lot were damaged when firefighters responded to the call. Damage to the vehicles is estimated at about $4,000. Damage to the apartment is about $15,000. No one was hurt.
