TULSA (AP) _ KOTV’s Scott Thompson has won a national award for writing. Thompson, a reporter and anchor for KOTV, earned an Edward R. Murrow national honor for a compilation of his segment known as "Oklahoma Traveler."
Murrow awards are presented for excellence in electronic journalism by the Radio Television News Directors Association. Thompson's honor was one of 54 given out of 2,285 entries
