(Tulsa-AP) -- Gary Unger is back as the Tulsa Oilers' head coach.
Oilers' owner Jeff Lund named Unger to the top spot Thursday. Unger replaces Shaun Clouston, who stepped down on June 14th.
Unger led Tulsa to the inaugural Central Hockey League title in the 1992-1993 season. Unger has been the Oilers' director of hockey development for the past two seasons.
The upcoming hockey season will be the tenth that Unger has been part of Oilers' hockey as either a player, coach or member of the front office.
