(Alva-AP) -- Dax Michelena threw for 397 yards and six touchdowns to lead Sioux Falls to a 48-to-20 win over Northwestern Oklahoma.

Michelena threw five touchdown passes by halftime, at which point the Cougars led 41-20. Sioux Falls' Nick Corton caught eight passes for 180 yards and three TDs.

Northwestern quarterback Issac Hall had 90 yards rushing. Hall passed for 127 yards and an interception.

Kelcey Williams rushed for 26 yards, including a 7-yard score in the first quarter for the Rangers. Patrick Crayton returned a punt 81 yards for a score for the Rangers.

Northwestern drops to 1-and-2 on the season.
