(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa coach Keith Burns would like a victory over Boise State to put the Golden Hurricane on the road to achieving their ultimate goal -- a six-win season.

TU is amid a three-game losing streak, including last week's loss to New Mexico State.

In the process, the Golden Hurricane may have lost quarterback Tyler Gooch. Gooch is questionable after taking a hit in his ankle.

Quarterback Josh Blankenship, who made 20 starts at Tulsa before being replaced by Gooch last week, is expected to return to the job if Gooch can't play.

Some Broncos players are licking their wounds, too, after a 45-14 loss to Rice last weekend.

Defensive tackle Tony Altieri may be out for the season with a sprained neck and Boise State's top two tailbacks also were hurt.
