OU football team has a hard job ahead

(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says the second-ranked Sooners have plenty to work on in getting ready for third-ranked Nebraska.

Stoops says Nebraska's complicated blocking schemes provide a major test for opposing defenses. He also says quarterback Eric Crouch is a great player and the key to the Cornhusker offense.

But Stoops says having played against Nebraska a year ago is a benefit this time around.

He says the Sooners are much further ahead in their preparation than they were going into last year's game.
