CATOOSA, Okla. (AP) _ A man traveling on a rural road east of Catoosa found the body of a suspected murder victim early Saturday morning, authorities said.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is trying to determine the identity of the man who likely was shot to death, said spokeswoman Kym Koch.

The victim was 6-foot-1 and weighed about 295 pounds. He wore a maroon sweat shirt with a Tweety bird character, faded blue jeans and brown leather work boots.

The man was Hispanic or Native American and had scars on his right knee and right wrist, she said.
