NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Results from an environmental assessment of possible anthrax contamination at a Norman postal service center should be available by midweek, state Health Department officials say.

Health department officials were on hand over the weekend when a contractor took samples from the U.S. Postal Service Maintenance Technical Support Center in north Norman, which received postal machine parts from facilities in Washington and Trenton, N.J.

Traces of anthrax has been found in those two sites.

Norman Regional Hospital reported that 123 employees at the center who were tested for anthrax exposure have tested negative.
