A Tulsa man critically injured in a hit and run accident continues to fight for his life.

19-year-old Timofei Kruzhkov was hit from behind as he and a friend walked along East 41st Street early Thursday. The driver took off.

39-year-old David Whitaker was arrested and booked for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Kruzhkov is in critical condition.
