LAIE, Hawaii (AP) _ Dante Swanson had 25 points in leading Tulsa over host Brigham Young-Hawaii 88-67 Saturday night in the championship game of the Yahoo! Sports Invitational.

Swanson was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player as he and the Golden Hurricane (9-1) won all three of their tourney games and their seventh straight overall.

Before losing to Tulsa, the Division II Seasiders (9-4) beat two Division I teams.

Greg Harrington, Charlie Davis and Jason Parker each added 12 points for Tulsa. Alexus Foyle had 18 points, and Scott Salisbury added 10 along with 12 rebounds and seven assists for BYU-Hawaii.

Brigham Young-Hawaii was competitive for much of the first half, never trailing by more than five points until the final two minutes before intermission. Then the Golden Hurricane went on an 8-2 run punctuated by Davis' last-second dunk for a 42-33 halftime advantage.

Tulsa continued to build its lead in the second half, enjoying its biggest advantage of the game at 70-46 with 9:38 remaining. The Seasiders never pulled closer than 15 points the rest of the way.

For the game, the Golden Hurricane outshot BYU-Hawaii 50 percent (33-for-66) to 46 percent (26-for-56), and also had nine fewer turnovers (20-11).

Foyle, Salisbury and teammate Yuta Tabuse joined Swanson on the all-tournament team, along with the Golden Hurricane's Antonio Reed and New Mexico State's Eric Channing.
