You may find your holiday drive through Tulsa a little smoother, thanks to a new pothole patching machine.

Road crews along the BA expressway are using a new machine called the pothole fixer. The truck has built-in tools that clean the holes, fills them with asphalt and smoothes them out.

This new method is safer because it keeps workers from having to stand in the roadway to do the work. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says this new form of patchwork is faster, too.
