Collinsville Police are still looking for a man who fled from them during a chase and shot at them.
It all started early Thursday morning, when a police officer saw a car at the Collinsville High School without any lights on.
The car left the high school and when the officer stopped the car on Highway 20 a few blocks from the school, the chase took on a new level of danger. Collinsville Police Chief Stanley Mason “Individual bailed out. One while male. Got into a foot pursuit. Bad guy fired one shot. Officer held off and called for backup.†That backup included more officers from Tulsa County, a helicopter and canine units. But they never found him.
Police did find a computer in the driver's car, which they think may have come from the school. The car was also stolen.
