(Denver-AP) -- Mike Evans is settling into his role as interim coach of the Denver Nuggets.
Evans was named to the position Wednesday after Dan Issel resigned from his coaching duties.
Already, Evans has issued some ground rules for his players. Among them: No blasting teammates in the media and no public displays of discontent.
Evans is promoting a philosophy based on accountability, better communication and team unity.
Players hope his leadership will refresh the team and help them pull out of a dismal 9-and-18 record.
