Squirrel blamed for Tulsa power outage

Updated:
Lots of Tulsa folks have a squirrel to blame for the power going out in their homes and businesses Monday morning.

About 1,300 AEP-PSO customers in the 77th and Memorial area lost power for several hours Monday. Electric workers say a mischievous squirrel cut through a power cord, shutting down the system.

The squirrel died in the process.
