The folks in Owasso have something to shout about this New Year. Green Country swept cheerleading nationals this past weekend.

The Owasso High School cheerleaders took top honors at the cheerleading nationals. They also won 1st place in the dance competition, and are now sporting their coveted National Cheerleading Association jackets. Leslie Baines, Owasso cheerleader: "It was real exciting. It was a great feeling to win and I'm really proud of all these girls that went and we did a great job."

Cascia Hall took 3rd nationally. And Jenks varsity cheerleaders won 1st place in the nation for stunt cheers.
