A hot topic in Tulsa over the past couple of years is the 1921 Race Riots. It left by some accounts as many as 300 people dead. And, there's discussion of paying reparations to survivors and their families.
A new book entitled "Riot and Remembrance" takes a look at that part of Tulsa's history. It's getting much critical acclaim.
The book's author, James Hirsch, was in Tulsa Friday to discuss his book.
