Minister To Stand Trial On Sodomy Charges

Updated:
An Owasso minister will stand trial on two counts of forcible sodomy. Prosecutors say Ray Elwood Martin sexually abused a boy who sometimes stayed at his home.

The victim says the abuse started as early as ten years ago - but he didn't tell police until last October.

The victim (now 19 years old) says Martin stopped abusing him three years ago when he told the minister to stop.

The defense claims the teen made up the charges, because he wanted revenge after Martin asked his mother to leave the church.
