The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a triple fatality accident early Friday morning involving Tulsa's Arrow Trucking probably happened because the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The 18-wheeler crossed the centerline; hit a guardrail on Highway 75 near Ramona. The truck then rammed into the side of a bridge and fell 30 feet to a railroad track below.
Troopers say the 23-year-old truck driver, Wade Kancila and his two passengers, 21-year-old Wendy Graham and her 21 month-old-son Ryan all died instantly. Highway Patrol trooper Mitch Miller, "Ran through the guardrail and run on the side of the bridge and once he was on top of the bridge and went ahead and flip him over on his back down on top of the railroad tracks at the railroad overpass."
Troopers say no one in the truck was wearing a seatbelt. Arrow Trucking says Kancila had been a truck driver for five years and his death is a great loss.
