Arrest Arson case

In this week's Arrest Arson report Fire investigators still haven't found the four people they say are responsible for a New Year's Eve fire at Tulsa's
Historic Camelot Hotel.

They hope this follow-up story will trigger a tip from someone who might know what happened that night.

Late in the evening on December 31st, people driving past the Camelot hotel saw something suspicious going on inside.

Captain Hubert Rouse of the Tulsa Fire Dept says, "A passer-by witnessed people throwing things out of the hotel and summoned police, two males and two females."

When police got there and investigated, they found a fire had been set in the penthouse. Someone had stacked bedding and furniture in a fire and torched it.

It was a level- one, two-alarm fire for the department, partly because the building is so old.

Rouse says, "Also, cause of the potential problem with a water supply if this were to evolve into a large fire."

Firefighters stopped it before it became a huge fire, but, it still did about six thousand dollars in damage.

If you have information about this fire, you can call the Arrest Arson hotline at 596-2776.

You don't have to give your name and you could receive a cash reward.
