Alcohol believed involved in a pair of Tulsa traffic accidents

Updated:
Tulsa Police are investigating a couple of accidents Wednesday morning that sent four people to the hospital. It's believed drinking was involved in both.

The first happened at 71st and Mingo. The driver of a car lost control while turning south and hit a concrete abutment. Two men and a woman were injured. Police found an open liquor bottle on the floorboard. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

About a half hour later, the driver of a pick-up truck was apparently going too fast and lost control on Highway 169 and hit a bridge. She was also taken to the hospital.
