Cherokee Firedancers called up to help in shuttle search

Seventeen members of the firefighting Cherokee Nation Firedancers are headed to Nacogdoches County, Texas to aid in the search for astronaut remains and debris from the space shuttle Columbia.

Tribal officials say the team will consist of 15 members of the Cherokee Nation and two of Caddo tribe.

The Firedancers spend the summer fighting wildfires across the country.
