Tulsa adds running back to recruiting class

Updated:
TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A Kentucky running back coming off a knee injury has been added to new Tulsa football coach Steve Kragthorpe's first recruiting class.

Cauvey Jackson of Pleasure Ridge Park High in Louisville, Ky., signed a letter of intent to play for the Golden Hurricane, the university said Friday. Tulsa also signed 18 high school and three junior college players Wednesday.

Jackson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in September, but Kragthorpe said Tulsa's doctors have determined that he will fully recover.
